Meet our founders – Varsha and Sharon

Sharon James

Hello, I'm Sharon James – a health coach for both men and women on their transformative journeys to better health and well-being. Constantly rooted in scientific knowledge and evidence-based methods, I blend my expertise with a genuine passion for encouraging individuals to seize control of their minds and bodies in ways that fit their unique needs.
 

As a health coach seasoned by three decades of experience, I've, successfully helped hundreds of people tackle weight management, menopause, and fitness challenges.
 

My sweet spot lies in coaching them to reclaim control, and understanding who they are and what their needs are for their healthier future.

In a world flooded with wellness trends, I am a huge advocate for learning about our bodies so that we can make better informed choices. I've seen the pitfalls of fad diets and the craziness of how we are influenced by how other people eat and train and that's why I encourage a grounded approach amidst the wellness industry buzz.

 I draw down on my diverse career, education in sports science and life coaching, personal training, and hormonal health and keep evolving to support others in navigating their health and well-being.
 

My own journey is the heartbeat of my dedication to women's midlife well-being. At 44, unexpected health shifts threw me off course – weight gain, changes in shape, and a dip in energy levels. Armed with my knowledge, I delved into the intricacies of menopause, focusing on facts over fads.

Believing wholeheartedly in the power of education, I advocate for it at all levels – from individuals and families to businesses, healthcare professionals, and even government entities. My commitment to breaking barriers extends to thought leadership discussions, where I explore collaboration opportunities between the UK and the Middle East.

Fun Facts

I climbed Kilimanjaro for my 50th, with my travel buddy, Jane.

I did my first Ironman at the age of 53 and qualified for the world championships.


I worked in Spain for 10 years as a personal trainer and coach.

I was a head coach in a training institute where I would educate, and mentor people to become personal trainers.

Varsha Tharanath

My wellness journey began several years ago when I was hit with a severe back injury. The pain was not just physical, it was mental, too – a wake-up call that made me revaluate life’s priorities. It was then that I met my amazing coach, Sharon, who not only helped me in my recovery but made me truly understand the profound impact of fitness and nutrition on overall well-being.
 

Motivated by my own experience, I decided to take a leap into entrepreneurship. Together with Sharon, we launched Mindful Meals, a meal plan company which goes beyond just delivering meals.

Creating Mindful Meals came with its share of challenges – skepticism, financial hurdles. And navigating a new industry wasn’t easy, but we love a challenge, and now we’ve created something that goes beyond meal plans, offering a holistic approach to healing through nutrition.

Fun Facts

I’m from Chikmagalur, in the southern part of India.

Trained in Indian classical Bharatanatyam.

Spent the majority of my life in Bangalore – the Silicon Valley of India – working as a software engineer.
